Worked on social media content for an agency environment, focusing on turning simple raw materials into more engaging short form videos. One of the main challenges was creating content from limited assets, such as screenshots, static visuals, or simple talking head footage. Instead of relying only on basic cut to cut editing, I developed a more visual approach using motion, animated elements, screen movement, and dynamic pacing to make the content feel more alive. Since this content represented the agency’s own brand, the visual direction needed to feel current, sharp, and aligned with how content is consumed on social media today. The agency’s content had to reflect that it understands trends, platform behavior, and modern creative execution. For talking head content, I also adjusted the editing direction based on current social media behavior. Since generic B-roll, especially footage taken from open source platforms, often feels overused and less engaging, I minimized unnecessary B-roll usage and replaced it with cleaner motion graphics, visual emphasis, text animation, and trend aware editing treatments. The goal was to make every content piece feel sharper, less boring, and more native to today’s short form platforms, even when the raw materials were simple. This helped the agency content look more polished, more dynamic, and more relevant for social media.
