Worked on my first short documentary film as the editor, motion designer, and graphic designer, focusing on building a tense and immersive viewing experience. Since this was my first short film project, one of the main challenges was handling the technical and creative demands of documentary editing at the same time. Some of the footage had flicker issues, which I solved using a plugin-based workflow so the visuals could remain clean and consistent throughout the film. Beyond the technical fixes, my main focus was shaping the atmosphere of the film. I used pacing, visual rhythm, sound support, motion graphics, and graphic elements to create a more intense and suspenseful tone, helping the audience feel more connected to the story and the emotion of each scene. This project became a major milestone in my editing journey. As my first short documentary film, it won a Broadcast Award from Polimedia Kreatif Negeri Jakarta and was also selected as a National Documentary Film Nominee at the Bandung International Student Film Festival 2023.
